The world in which we live is changing daily. The way people get their news is very different than what we did five years ago. Newspapers around the country are going bankrupt, or converting to internet publications which rely on advertisements for revenue, instead of fees paid by customers who read. The internet has provided an immediate source of information for people writing and reading blogs. No longer are we required to rely on reporters who may be required by their network to spin a story in such a way as to favor the network’s candidate.
This is the first article I have come across identifying the importance of blog traffic for the 2012 election. The author recognizes that the number of daily hits on blogs covering candidates is not necessarily a positive sign for the candidate. The author explains...
