Wonkette has reportedly put the author on probation because of the article. Without doubt the article was disgraceful, unnecessary and obscene. However the commentary misses the point.
Clearly the author intended the attack to be focused on Sarah, and Trig’s birthday was simply the mechanism for the attack...
